"Climate-controlled" is the facility's claim

We list a facility when its own website says it offers climate-controlled units, and we quote the wording we found. We haven't inspected the facilities in person. "Climate-controlled" has no standard definition, so one facility may control humidity while another only heats and cools, and only some units may qualify. Ask the facility what it controls, and to what range, for the unit you'd rent.

Prices, hours and ratings

Prices and unit sizes come from facility websites on the date shown on each listing. Online prices often include a promotion and may differ from the regular or in-store rate. Ratings, review counts and office hours come from Google. Any of these can change at any time.

Weather and flood data

Local weather figures are NOAA 1991-2020 climate normals from the nearest weather station, which may be some distance from the facility. Flood zone information, where shown, comes from FEMA flood maps. Neither describes conditions inside a storage building.

No endorsement

A listing is not a recommendation or a guarantee. We aren't affiliated with the facilities we list, and listing is free. Brand names belong to their owners, and their appearance here doesn't mean they endorse the site.

Corrections

If something is wrong, use report an error or email [email protected]. We check the facility's website again and fix the listing.
